All of a sudden I am an adult:

I have bills to pay
I can talk to my adult neighbors for longer than 5 minutes and about subjects other than babysitting
I keep my room clean
I feel like complaining about having to work all summer but then there’s a voice in my head that says, “no, this is necessary and it’s ok” and my desire to complain goes away
I have this strange, mature sense of responsibility for myself and my own life
I am okay leaving the house wearing a dog sweatshirt
I am okay leaving the house with my hair in one french braid
I want to be in an actual, serious, adult relationship (omg, this one is really getting me)
I AM FINALLY GOING TO PAY OFF MY HIGH SCHOOL LIBRARY FINES
