list of things i miss about ohio/am looking forward to doing this summer…

THE NORTH MARKET
especially the barbecue place but also the whole thing.

BIKE RIDES IN NON-TRAFFIC AREAS
being a cyclist on the road is always risky but in new york it seems like drivers seem to think that cyclists are other drivers…and they can do things like turn in front of you and cut you off and generally endanger your life ALL OF THE TIME.

WORKING AT SECOND CHANCE
best job ever during the best season ever.

WEDDINGS AND MINI-VACATIONS
two close friends getting married and several small weekend trips to fun places.  

THE POOL
i haven’t been to the public pool in years but every year i think about how i should go.  but i probably wont.  but its fun to think about.

PEACE AND QUIET
yonkers is the complete opposite of this.

GRASS/TREES/YARDS/PARKS/SPACE/ETC.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS
i miss my family so much.  
i’ve made a lot of great friends in NY but there is nothing like spending time with the people who have known you for the majority of your life and love you anyways.

there are probably more things, i might have to continue this list in another post.
