emotional hangover
why is leaving home always so hard? i was doing great here in ny but this past weekend i went home for a visit. a really fast visit (3 days) and of course, it went by REALLY FAST. i’m feeling all dried up and numb emotionally after some teary goodbyes and now that i’m back i feel like i have to go through my (long emotional) adjustment period all over again. it’s exhausting. why can’t ny and ohio be closer?
