oh man, NY is getting hit by some weird hurricane remnants.  wind and rain and humidity while everyone in ohio keeps talking about the beautiful fall weather.  not here.  i’m feeling so lazy on this yucky friday.  right now i’m having my bi-weekly studio time where i’m supposed to work on things in the studio, buuuuuttt….it’s so hard to want to do anything right now except lie around and think about what i’m going to do this weekend. 

my weeks are so jam-packed that i really look forward to the weekends to get some quality veg. time.

tonight i think i will do some baking.  yum!  and then catch up on some tv that i’ve been missing.  and maybe just sit around being a BIG LAZY BLOB.  

because actually my weekends are pretty jam-packed too.  so one night of lazy blobbing and then back to the grind.  

something that is nice about this particular (although gross) friday is that it marks a couple of personal milestones for me…  
1.  October, which i guess is a fairly universal milestone
2.  I’ve been in NY for 5 weeks and i’ve survived a whole month of grad school!  wow.  
3.  In 2 more weeks i get to go home for a long weekend to spend some time with my family.  i! can’t!  wait!
